Louis and Marilyn Glickfield, founders of Marlo Furniture, Maryland and Virginia's area’s largest and one of America’s top 70 furniture retailers, formed the Glickfield Family Foundation over 30 years ago as a means of sharing the fruits of their success with the community. Today it serves as a vehicle for their community service and philanthropic activities, providing worthy charities and organizations with hundreds of thousands of dollars of contributions over the years. Louis Glickfield is the recipient of the National Humanitarian Award, and Lou and Marilyn together have been honored with the National Award As Man & Woman Of The Year, presented by the Anti-Defamation League.
